Dear Friends,
For the second time we are meeting in Zermatt. But it
is the IXth time we meet in the Winter School of Perinatal Medicine.
The idea which started several years ago in Poland and so schools
were held in the mountains. Then two years ago they were moved to
Alps. At the beginning it was organized under the auspicious of Polish
Society of Perinatal Medicine. Now the role of patron belongs to the
European Association of Perinatal Medicine.
The main idea of the school was to create closer collaboration between
neonatologists and obstetricians and give the opportunity to look
together at the problems of the mother, fetus and newborn as an integrated
problem. Out of such an approach come also the main subjects of the
school, this year the topic are perinatal infections.
For the first time, the European School we are authorized to offer
the credit points for the participants. We hope it will be continued
in the future. Glad to see you, that days in Zermatt will be sunny
and snowy allowing to combine science and pleasure.
