Postprandial glucose determinations: are one and two hours the same?

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine if different postprandial glucose testing protocols produce comparable glucose profiles. Two hundred forty five gestational diabetic women were enrolled in this prospective study. The 2-hour determination with fasting plasma glucose should be used as the testing scheme for GDM.
